How can I become an Apple Developer and one day attend the WWDC?

I am currently an SQL Windows Programmer. I would like to expand my experience to include developing applications in the World of Apple. I have recently purchased my first Apple Computer, an Intel Macbook Pro. I am very happy with how easy it is to learn the Mac OS X. I am very interested in becoming a Developer for Apple. Where should I begin? Should I dive into AppleScript, XCode, or learn all I can about the popular Universal Binaries? This is all new to me, but I would really enjoy learning more from someone who has experience as an Apple Developer. Thank you for your time.

  1. Right here man... http://developer.apple.com/ I'll be going to WWDC in August in SanFran. w00t! You can sign up with ADC and receive emails for free and other good info. It costs US$500 to be a Select Member, and this allows you access to Developer release downloads of the MacOS and other goodies. I presonally think it's well worth the $500. I paid this fee outta my own pocket for 2 years, but now my employer pays for it.
