Installer on Ipod touch only has a few packages.?

When I jailbroke my ipod I got cydia and installer. Cydia works fine but installer only has a few packages. I've seen how many packages their are in the youtube videos and i have nothing close to that many. What's wrong?

1. you have to add more yourself by installing repositories such as the community repo or big boss repo, just seach it on youtube besides, cydia has all you need
